This project aimed to contribute to the sustainability and quality of drinking water in the south and south east areas of Tehran with bounding its master plan to the Tehran’s ring plan and supply adequate water to Tehran by 2021. The total capacity of the Tehran 7th module is 5000 lit/s which will be executed in two modules. The first module of the plant was established in 2010 with 2500 lit/s capacity. The second module of the project consists of Design & Engineering, Procurement, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical and control systems with the same capacity (2500 lit/s) which will be performed by Shimbar Company, starting in march 2017.
