The aim of this project is to supply water to Khomein city and surrounding villages located 20 kilometers away from Qom reservoir. This project is one of the first B.O.T (Build, operate and transfer) in water and wastewater section in Iran. Shimbar designed and built the infrastructure, financed its construction and will own, operate and maintain it over the next 20 years (concession period). After concession period, project will be transfered to the government. The capacity of plant is 273 Lit/Sec.
